Let's talk robotics with Professor Dana Kulić

Eps 7: In today’s episode I talk to Professor Dana Kulić - a warm, funny and as down to earth as you can get person! Dana is a Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering and the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Monash University. Dana develops autonomous systems that can operate in concert with humans, using natural and intuitive interaction strategies while learning from user feedback to improve and individualise operation over long-term use.

Dana has just been nominated as one of the World’s 50 most renowned Women in Robotics by Analytics Insight, a huge accolade! She has also just been awarded an Australian Research Council Future Fellowships. Future Fellowships provide four-year fellowships to outstanding Australian mid-career researchers to undertake high quality research in areas of national and international benefit.

It was great fun talking to Dana about her work at Monash, focussing on the new robotics precinct, the robotics degree now on offer at Monash University, the robotics clubs and much more!

Dana can be reached at dana.kulic@monash.edu.
